This set of 3 small birds with a very nice design and old-fashioned charm, were produced in the 50s to 60s. These are whistles, They are covered with shiny enamel and patterns. Water whistles use the movement of water, under the action of the breath, to modify the opening between the duct and the water reserve and thus permanently change the pitch of the sound. The result is a modulated whistling sound similar to the chirping of birds. By playing on the intensity of the breath the instrumentalist can partially control the effects.
Very good general condition, some small lack of paint due to age (see photos)
