Ricard rectangular ceramic pitcher bearing the inscription "Ricard anisette" on both sides. It comes with 4 tall "ANISETTE 51" glasses, they have a well-weighted base, are ribbed on the lower half and are printed with the brand name in blue letters on the top.
RICARD and PERNOD are aperitif drinks flavored with anise that have been very popular in France since the 1950s.
The Pernod (founded at the beginning of the 20th century) and ricard (founded in 1932) houses merged to give birth to the Pernod Ricard group in 1975.
Carafes were used in French cafes and restaurants to hold the water that is added to these aniseed drinks, among the most common French aperitifs.
