The portrait is of a woman from the 1920s wearing a scarf or headband tied with a knot.
Unsigned but probably a creation by Léa Stein
Léa Stein (born 1931) is a French artist and accessory maker, known for her compressed plastic buttons, brooches, and bracelets. She is often hailed as "the most remarkable and innovative plastic jewelry designer of the 20th century."
Very good condition but a small chip on the bottom edge which is not visible when the brooch is worn.
