Beautiful ARCOPAL glass casserole dish with blue ASTER floral pattern.
It goes from the oven to the table, the 2 parts can be used separately, the lid will allow you to serve, for example, vegetables.
The French brand Arcopal is manufactured by the Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques.
The manufacturing process for Opal glass was discovered in 1958 and registered under the name Arcopal.
It is a glass that is very resistant to chips and cracks.
Under the casserole dish is written "ARCOPAL France".
This is the "Aster" model from Arcopal France, produced in 1975/76. These were promotional products distributed by the ANTAR brand (petrochemical industry in operation from 1927 to 2005), the name "antar" is integrated into the pattern.
