Very nice vintage Limoges porcelain coffee set. The 3 pieces (coffee pot, creamer and sugar bowl) have a beautiful decoration with floral bouquets, a light yellow band on the top and gold edging.
It will fit perfectly into a shabby chic or romantic country atmosphere, you can combine it with all-white vintage cups or dare to mix patterns, colors and textures for a decor that is unique to you, in a mix and match spirit, have fun creating unexpected assortments.
Manufactured by Legrand Limoges France.
This company was created in 1865 with the installation of a Limoges porcelain workshop, on the Lyon road in Limoges. The factory was taken over in 1904 by Frédéric Legrand, who gave his name to the company. In 1944, the business was taken over by Édouard Decoster and Jean Verspieren, who gradually diversified manufacturing into electrical equipment.
In August 1949, after the factory burned down, they decided to abandon the production of tableware and concentrate solely on the production of electrical appliances.
