This pretty French Provencal santon represents a Provencal shepherd.
He holds a walking stick in his right arm, he has a pipe in his left hand.
The santon was made of terracotta and wire (for the arms). He wears velvet trousers, a shirt and a large brown felt cape and his matching hat.
Signed Maryse SECUNDO PEIRANO santonnier in Aubagne, a Provencal village in France.
